After 25-years of extreme frustration with a previous financial advisor who was working for one of the very ’big’ bank firms, my wife and I (in our mid-50’s), found via YouTube an absolute gem in our new advisor, Rhys, from Well. Built. Wealth. At first we thought, is this guy for real? Can he be that friendly and financially savvy? A few weeks later (after watching more of his videos), we booked a consultation. Yep…Rhys is the real deal!
He walked us through the structure of Well. Built. Wealth., but equally important, how our money would be safely and VERY securely managed, which admittedly was our primary question/concern. So; Well Built Wealth with Rhys, Tyler and Team are what I believe financial literacy, general planning and retirement planning are supposed to be. Bottom line. And a huge outlier to the positive-side based on my decades of frustrating experiences with big banks.
I discovered Rhys while searching retirement planning on You Tube. From the very first video, I really enjoyed his humor, mannerisms, content delivery and way of explaining seemingly complex topics in a way myself and my wife could easily understand. Once I discovered his You Tube channel I watched every video over the course of a weekend.
We have dealt with banks our entire adult lives and were always frustrated that basically each time we went to the bank in person we had a different advisor. Or couldn’t see anyone. Or talked to a robot on the phone to get to a person. Once we virtually met and had our situation assessed by Rhys and Tyler it was a no-brainer to switch over to Well Built Wealth. We were instantly set at ease and actually enjoyed a “financial planning/banking” meeting for basically the first time in our lives.
Since getting switched over; we have communicated dozens if not hundreds of times over email. And also had ad-hoc phone calls and non-scheduled meetings when I needed particular help or advice.
